The update worked like it should. No issues.

It was a breeze

I plugged the USB drive into the vehicle and turned it on.
I waited until the prompts tole me to restart the vehicle.
I watched the upgrade load until I was prompted to remove the USB drive and restart the truck.
voila - the firmware and the USB drive did all the work, I just watched.

2016 Edge Upgrade

Upgrade went without issue and got new maps something I could not get from Ford. Eat affordable solution. Would have preferred for instructions to be easier to find on website or be included with unit. But once I got it going everything worked great. I updated my USB hub at same time which was good since it errored out on original non-Apple CarPlay version. Once everything was in works great.

Can’t get software to load. No instructions included. [****]

Worked great on my 2019 expedition.

My 2019 wouldn’t update from ford past 3.0 this was my easy way to get up to current. Definitely an improvement over 3.0.
